Cheesy Cajun Beef Rice

This is probably one of the easiest recipes on the whole app. Yep, you heard me right. Low maintenance meals are a great way to stay on track with your nutrition and using minimal ingredients, you can whip up this flavourful dish in less than 20 minutes.

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Dice the onion and red pepper. Add to the pan and fry off until softened. Add in lazy garlic.

1 tsp Lazy garlic

Add beef mince to the pan and cook until browned.

500 g Beef mince

Step 3

Season with cajun, salt and pepper.

Add the passata and honey to the pan and combine.

Add in rice straight from packet (without microwaving it) with a splash of water and stir until fully combined. Let this cook for 4-5 mins on a low to medium heat.

Sprinkle over the cheese and place a lid on the pan so it melts. Top with fresh coriander and enjoy.
